Advantages to World-Wide Distribution via MMGI:
- Direct Sales world wide
- No need for large printing runs of CD or warehousing.
- No need to seek out traditional distributors that require hard copies at greatly reduced prices.
- Cost to distribute world-wide digitally is a mere fraction than the cost of printing, shipping and locating distributors.
- Your music shows up on all major web-search engines like: Google, Yahoo, Webcrawler and more...
- Target internet audiences to check out your music via sites like MySpace, Facebook, etc...
- Hard printing can be provided on an "as needed" basis. (see CD duplication)
Basic Costs/What is provided:
Cost: $95 per CD (up to 15 songs/CD) (completed project) includes:
- UPC codes for CD
- distribution to online stores (see list at left)
- all adminstration duties (preparing encoding process, submission to sites, tracking progress, issuing payments)
Additional legal/protective services for your music:
- Music Publishing - Copyrighting services (via Library of Congress) for original music
What does MMGI need to complete process:
- 3 copies of your CD with artwork (if artwork is needed, MMGI can be of assistance)
- Signed agreement (sent to you prior to commencing with process to distribute)
- Agreements can be for 1 - 3 years or longer. The UPC code always will stay with your CD.
- Payment of $95 per CD
Payments to you
- MMGI will pay 50% of the gross income from all distribution fees collected from the sites.
- No further direct payments will be required from you after initial setup.
- Costs for adminstration, tracking and reporting activity are absorbed in collected distribution payments.
Tracking
- You will be able to follow your music's progress on sites like iTunes, Rhapsody, etc... by going directly to the sites and seeing "popularity" ratings.
Control
- You control the amount of flow to these sites via your Internet/marketing activities
